When the job was finished, they didn’t just leave a bill on the door - they had a representative call a few days later to ask if we were happy with their services and to see how (email or snail mail) we’d like to get the bill.
There were no hidden charges, the cost to have 2 medium-sized silver maples removed, including the wood and stumps, was about 60% that of other bids.

We called three places in the Tri Cities to remove a couple trees and grind the stumps. Phil from Top Tree came out and gave a us a bid and it was a few hundred less than the other places and they were only taking the trees down, his price included stump grinding. They came out on time and did a fantastic job. We would definitely recommend Phil and his team to anyone.

I had Top Tree remove the 60' tree in my front yard as well as stump grinding and some root removal. They did a fantastic job, had great communication throughout the process, this is a company I would definitely recommend and use again myself..
After 16 years I decided to redo the landscaping in my front yard, but in order to do that I needed a tree and two bushes removed. My experience with Top Tree was excellent starting with the fee estimate through the removal and stump grinding and finally the cleanup. Their technicians did an outstanding job and they were fast and efficient. My advice is to stay out of their way and let them do what they do. Great work at a reasonable cost. And their office staff was very pleasant and informative.
Had Top Tree come out to look at a couple of birch trees on our property that were in really rough shape. Was hoping we could save them but appreciated Phil’s honesty when he came out and let me know that he didn’t recommend pouring a bunch of money into trying to save them as they were too far gone. At my request he emailed me an estimate for removal of the trees and I was shocked at how fair the pricing was. The next week they were scheduled to come out and remove the trees and grind the stumps. Everyone we have communicated with has been wonderful, especially Lisa. We are pleased with the job they did and highly recommend Tree Top.

We have worked with Top Tree a couple times. This last time was to cut a large pine tree down in our backyard. And they did as good a job the second time as the first. An estimator came out right away, we talked through the job and they had a crew out in less than a week. The crew had great equipment which included a remote operated hoist and a track mount log hauler. They got the tree down and hauled away and avoided any collateral damage to the yard. A few days later they removed the stump with a remote operated stump remover. Great crews, great equipment and professional service. We were very happy with their work.
We asked Top Tree to remove seven 25-year-old-50-foot-high-pine trees. One of them was located quite close to our house. The work included stump grinding to a depth of six inches. A team of seven people did it when the temperature exceeded 110⁰. The service was accurate and efficient. The men respected the fence and the plantations. We couldn’t be happier. Thank you!

How far down do you grind?
Several inches below grade — enough to re-sod, seed, or plant over the spot. If you have a specific plan for the space, tell us and we grind to suit it.
Can I plant a new tree where the stump was?
Yes, with a little prep. We can haul off the grindings and backfill with soil so the spot is ready for planting instead of full of wood chips.
What happens to the grindings?
Your choice — we leave them on site as free mulch, or haul them off and backfill for an added cost.
