Pruning Shears – Available in both scissor and anvil action models, the scissor design is often preferred because it makes a cleaner cut.

Lopping Shears – Operated with both hands, this scissor-action tool can slice through branches up to 2 inches in diameter. Always be careful when using these.

Pole Pruner – Good for reaching higher branches. If you own a pole pruner, great. If you need to know the best place to rent one, just ask and we’ll tell you.

Rope Saw – Allows cutting of branches located higher on the tree while you remain on the ground. This is a very efficient way to get to those parts of the tree you just normally can’t without a ladder.

Portable Buck Saw – Lightweight but very strong. This is a great tool for being quick and efficient with your work.

Chainsaw – For larger jobs, and intended for use by professionals or highly experienced homeowners only.

Hard Hat & Safety Glasses – For personal protection. It is amazing how quickly a stray branch can come at your head or eyes. It’s always best practice to use this equipment.

Cleaning – If you’re interested in cleaning your tree, this will remove dead, diseased or weak branches from the crown of a tree. This is important to remove any hazards that may exist.

Thinning – If you need to thin out your tree you will be removing branches to allow more light to penetrate, reducing stress on heavy limbs and encouraging retention of the tree’s natural shape, removing crossing branches that may rub on each other.
